The most amazing experience. We learned to make great French food in a bucolic setting in the country. The chateau is charming and the grounds are simply beautiful. Homegrown veggies and fresh eggs from the chef’s chickens are used in the food we prepared. Plus we used and sampled many local items. I learns lots of tips and tricks to improve my cooking game. Prices for 2022  "5-day" Hands-on Cookery Holiday

 If you would like to have a room to yourself, you will be charged the single room supplement at the time of booking.

The price of the "5-day" cooking course includes full board accommodation for five nights, the excursion, the tuition, menus with recipes booklet and course certificat.

Wine and other alcoholic beverages are not included, but can be purchased from our bar. 

Price for 2022 Regular "Week-end" Hands-on Cookery Course

Accommodation is normally onsite, with all inclusive 5 day/nights guests hosted at The Walnut Grove as a priority, with cooking and non cooking partners sharing one of our 2 ensuite bedrooms. The first floor can be privatised for group booking and can accommodate up to 7 person.

Under exceptional circumstances, guests may be accommodated at a local B&B, we will arrange drop off and pick up if required.

Payment
A minimum of 30% of total course fees is required at the time of reservation and is not refundable. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. We accept bank transfers, cheques in € Euros, and most major credit cards. In the event of insufficient numbers of clients on any one course - or a late cancellation, we reserve the right to cancel the course and either fully refund existing clients, or transfer them to another suitable course date.

Prices correct as printed but subject to change. The school reserves the right to alter its programs.

Cancellation
Full Refund minus the 30% deposit per person applies where written notice of cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the course. Cancellations received 45 to 60 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50%. No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 45 days prior to date of arrival. Once the week has commenced there will be no refunds on unused portions. Cancellations due to medical reasons can be covered by travel insurance (which we recommend all our guests purchase from their provider of choice). 

Due to the fact that we restrict our courses to no more than six participants we strictly adhere to this cancellation policy. We therefore recommend our clients take out CFAR (cancel for any reason) travel insurance to cover any cancellation.
